Super Facialist is a relatively new brand which you may have seen lots of people raving about recently – and I was kindly sent some PR products from the lovely team at Super Facialist! So I wanted to share my own experience of the products as a sufferer of sensitive and spot-prone skin.
“Our formulations have been expertly-developed by a team of skincare experts to help the skin achieve its perfect balance, plus optimum radiance and health. Years of research went into developing the most beautiful skincare formulations, paying exceptional care to work with safe and effective actives, while using the most delicate aroma.”
So here are the products I have been using…
VITAMIN C GENTLE DAILY MICRO POLISH WASH
This was one of the first products I used and I absolutely love it. Not only does it gently exfoliate your skin and give a gorgeous morning glow, but it also smells of oranges which is perfect to wake and freshen you up on those early mornings. I have quite sensitive skin but this doesn’t irritate it at all. I use this in the morning rather than at night, as I like to use something stronger in the evenings like a glycolic or salicylic scrub after a day of wearing make-up.
VITAMIN C BRIGHTEN BOOSTER
To use this, you simply mix 2-3 drops with your moisturiser, day and night, to enhance your skin with glowy Vitamin C. I have found this product to be one of the best products from the range – you can really see the difference when you don’t add it your moisturiser. It really brightens your skin and gives it a natural glow without making it look oily! A must-have for your morning routine.
VITAMIN C DARK CIRCLES EYE CREAM
This cream helps to reduce dark circles and fine lines around your eyes. I must admit that it’s only been the last couple of years that I’ve really started paying attention to eye creams as I always used to just use my moisturiser. But honestly, eye cream is a game changer and so important! The skin around your eyes is a lot more delicate and needs difference minerals and moisture compared to your cheeks and forehead, so it’s really important that it’s given the TLC it deserves. I had been using the Dermalogica eye cream before the Super Facialist one, so my expectations were rather high. But I must say, they have definitely lived up! After a couple of days my eyes were so much brighter and less bruised from rubbing them all day (hayfever has been a right pain this year). And now four weeks into using it everyday I feel like my bags are merely there and I don’t need so much concealer anymore!
VITAMIN C SKIN RENEW CLEANSING OIL
Now, I’m sure you will have seen the Super Facialist Renew Cleansing Oil floating about on Instagram recently, as so many people have been raving about it, and for good reason – it is amazing! It’s very rare that you can take your make-up off and get a glow-up but this oil does just that! I usually use micellar water with a pad to remove my makeup, but now that I’ve used oil I don’t think I will ever go back. It is so much more delicate and soothing on the skin, and doesn’t leave the skin dry or dehydrated.
Tip: Apply onto dry skin and massage into the face. Slowly add warm water. Then repeat the process. I have found repeating the process with a double cleanse really helps to remove stubborn waterproof mascara.
RETINOL+ ANTI-AGEING NIGHT CREAM
So I don’t usually go for a lot anti-aging products as I like to focus on hydration and brightening, but honestly…I love this cream! I have definitely gained some frown lines since lockdown and my skin has never needed TLC more than it does now. As this cream is enriched with Collagen boosting Retinol, it is just the boost I needed to fluff up my skin and give it a fresh glow.
VITAMIN C SKIN DEFENCE DAILY MOISTURISER
Since using the vitamin C moisturiser I have definitely seen a difference in my skin. It is super light-weight and quick drying, so it doesn’t clog up your pores or make you look oily. It also smells absolutely gorgeous so I really look forward to lathering it on it in the mornings!
The only thing I would say is that it doesn’t contain SPF, so you will need to apply this separately.
RETINOL+ REVIVING TONIC LOTION
And last but definitely not least – the Retinol Reviving Tonic Lotion. If you’ve been following me for a while you will know that I love a good tonic (with gin also). It is one of those products you never knew you needed until you try it. It seals the skin and lifts your complexion – making moisturiser, make-up and everything in-between sit perfectly on your skin. I love this Tonic so much because it feels silky smooth but without the appearance of oil and doesn’t leave the skin feeling dull. It really brightens and gives your skin a glow, and smells amazing! You only need a couple of drops to swipe over your face and completely transform from dull to dazzling in a matter of seconds. This is an item I will definitely be stocking up on in years to come!

So, overall my experience of Super Facialist Skin Care has been really good! Their products feel luxurious but also don’t break the bank. I also love that they have different ranges for different skin needs, and you can mix and match them all to create your own skin care routine formula!
And as always if there’s any other products you’ve seen on my Instagram @littlestoryblog, feel free to drop me a message or tweet me!
