
If you follow me on instagram you will already know that I am a massive foodie!
Being able to treat myself to foods I love whilst also living a healthy life is something that is super important to me, so these Chocolate Crispy Cakes (which don’t actually contain any chocolate) are the perfect indulgent and rich chocolatey treat but without all the hidden unhealthy extras!
For these quick, easy and super yummy treats all you need is 10 minutes and five ingredients!
INGREDIENTS (12 CAKES)
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup Peanut butter (or any other nut or seed butter – I prefer crunchy but you can use smooth too)
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
2-3 cups cereal of your choice (I use Special K as they’ve got just the right amount of crunch)
Optional
A handful of raisins if you’re feeling fruity
METHOD
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl other than the cereal. Mix thoroughly until you create a smooth, runny mixture (don’t worry if it seems too runny, it will set in the fridge).
Add the cereal and stir until the cereal is completely covered in the chocolate mix.
Separate the mixture into individual cupcake cases and refrigerate for an hour or so (or if you can’t wait that long, stick it in the freezer for 15 mins).
